Seeing Santa

Christmas time is here! We took Demi to see Santa and the beautiful trees at the South Town Expo Center. She was pretty intrigued by Santa. How cute!

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving at my parents house in Richfield. My grandparents from California also joined us. We had so much fun spending time with family. Demi loved eating all the yummy food.

Halloween

Demi was a monkey for Halloween. She looked so cute in her little monkey costume. She just began crawling on her knees after a couple months of an army crawl. We are very proud of our cute little monkey.

Lake Tahoe

In October 2009 we took a trip to Lake Tahoe. It was beautiful. We went hiking around several different areas and saw the salmon spawning in the creek. While we were on our vacation Demi began getting her first two teeth.

Camping

We went camping with our friends. We had lots of fun making smores and sitting around the campfire. We were worried that Demi would have a hard time sleeping in the tent. She did great but we didn't. The campground we went to has been known to have bears. There were signs posted everywhere to beware of the bears. That night when we heard something rummaging around in our campsite, we were worried it could be bears. It turned out to be just raccoons.

Trip to the Lake

Eric and I love going to the lake with friends. This is Demi's first trip. She had a fun time hanging out on the beach.

Mmmm Toes

Demi has just figured out how to eat her toes. She loves playing with her feet. They are her new favorite toy.

First time swimming

Demi went swimming for the first time. My sister Madeline and her daughters Hope and MaeCee came with us. Demi had a shocked look on her face the whole time but I think she had fun. She liked to watch all the kids playing in the water but didn't like it when she got splashed.

Trying to Roll over

Demi has been working on rolling over the last couple weeks. She has rolled from her belly to her back but is still working on going from her back to her belly.

Reading to Demi

Demi loves when we read to her. We have been reading to her every night for quite a while. Now she helps us hold the book and even enjoys some stories that are a little longer.

Smiling

Demi started smiling a couple weeks ago. Now we can't stop her. She is so cute. 

Introducing Demi Rae!

This is Demi Rae Chidester. She was born on February 11, 2009 at 2:08 pm. She weighed 7 lbs. 9 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long. Demi, Eric, and I are doing great. Just getting lots of rest now. We hope to go home tomorrow. Demi is very cute. She is such a blessing. We hope you enjoy the pictures.
