Reading

Demi loves reading. She usually insists on us reading to her. Yesterday I went in her room and found her reading to her giraffe. It was so precious. She read several books. I was very surprised to hear how much of the books she was able to "read".

Halloween

Demi loved Halloween. She ran from apartment to apartment getting candy. But had to make a quick stop at the playground when we went by. She filled her bucket very quickly. When Eric asked if he could carry her bucket for her she very quickly said, "No." When we got home she was upset to find out that she could only eat one piece of her candy.

Seeing Santa

Christmas time is here! We took Demi to see Santa and the beautiful trees at the South Town Expo Center. She was pretty intrigued by Santa. How cute!

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving at my parents house in Richfield. My grandparents from California also joined us. We had so much fun spending time with family. Demi loved eating all the yummy food.

Halloween

Demi was a monkey for Halloween. She looked so cute in her little monkey costume. She just began crawling on her knees after a couple months of an army crawl. We are very proud of our cute little monkey.

Lake Tahoe

In October 2009 we took a trip to Lake Tahoe. It was beautiful. We went hiking around several different areas and saw the salmon spawning in the creek. While we were on our vacation Demi began getting her first two teeth.

Camping

We went camping with our friends. We had lots of fun making smores and sitting around the campfire. We were worried that Demi would have a hard time sleeping in the tent. She did great but we didn't. The campground we went to has been known to have bears. There were signs posted everywhere to beware of the bears. That night when we heard something rummaging around in our campsite, we were worried it could be bears. It turned out to be just raccoons.
